Ashlee Moskwa
My experience with cancer has left me forever changed. Once an athletic superstar, high school honors student, and energetic teenager, my goals have shifted. Today I have something new to live up to: I'm a cancer survivor.
| Ashlee Moskwa joined TNT as an honored patient in the spring of
2000, one year after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Ashlee cheered on competitors in the Walt Disney World Marathon in
January 2001 and walked the half marathon with her mother the follow-ing
year. For the past three years she has been an avid volunteer with the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. Since receiving
rehabilitation for two strokes caused by her cancer treatment, Ashlee has
continually worked to raise funds for cancer awareness and talks publicly
about her experiences. She is currently a college freshman at Johns
Hopkins University.
