Communicating Effectively
SITUATION / NEED
GSC partnered with Dell to design a half-day program to help new managers better understand what is expected of them from a communications standpoint, and to develop the ability of new managers to communicate effectively with their direct reports in a variety of settings (1×1s, staff meetings, etc.). This program is currently part of Dell’s Global Development offerings.

CUSTOMIZATION
This program was customized for Dell’s unique industry and global business environment. Through focus groups, and conversations with Dell managers, executives and our learning and development partners, Goal Success ascertained exactly the skill set that new mangers at Dell most need to develop. We also learned the industry and organization specific language required to make the content 100% relevant and realistic for the participants. Using this information we were able to create content and practice situations that give participants the most important information and oppprtunties to prepare for the inevitable challenges and opportunities they face.
