David A. Jacobson, M.A.
David is the founder and
president of GOAL SUCCESS, a company
dedicated to maximizing the potential of
individuals, teams and organizations.
David designs and delivers innovative
leadership development, team building and
executive coaching programs to many Fortune 100
companies.
David is the
author of Inspiration to Perspiration: The
Four Essential Steps to Achieving Your Goals.
He was inspired to write this book after
completing the 1998 Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon,
with his wife Shari, as part of the Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training®
Program. Inspiration to Perspiration
empowers readers to reach their most important
goals. By combining GAIN Planning™, a proven
process for achieving goals, with lessons from
Team In Training, the world’s premier endurance
sports training and fundraising program,
readers learn to apply strategies that have
already enabled thousands of people to reach
goals they never before dreamt possible.
David’s areas of
specialization include designing and delivering
leadership and team development programs;
conducting individual and team assessment and
feedback initiatives; facilitating team vision,
values, and mission clarification; motivational
speaking; outdoor experiential education, and
executive coaching.
David is an adjunct
trainer for the Center for Creative Leadership
and a consulting partner with The Ken Blanchard
Companies.
Prior to starting
GOAL SUCCESS, David was on the training staff
of the Center for Creative Leadership’s San
Diego Campus. He was an instructor in the
center’s leadership and team development
programs, as well as involved in designing and
delivering customized training solutions for a
wide array of clients.
David has a masters
degree in leadership studies from the
University of San Diego and a bachelor of arts
degree in psychology, with an emphasis in
communication, from Washington University in
St. Louis. |
